Mr. Paudel, is a water engineering expert. He has 29 years of experience in the field of irrigation and water resources development sector in Nepal. He has been involved in the planning, design, implementation, management and evaluation of various water related projects previously as a government employee (1990-2004) and later on as a consultant (2008-till date). He is a registered civil engineer in Nepal Engineering Council, life member of Nepal Engineers’ Association, Executive Member of Society of Irrigation Engineers (SIREN), Executive Member of Nepal National Committee on Irrigation and Drainage (NENCID), Executive Member of Jalshrot Vikas Sanstha (JVS))/GWP Nepal (linked with Global Water Partnership).
Rajan Subedi
President, MBA
Mr. Subedi is an Institutional Development Specialist and has 35 years of experience in the field of participatory natural resources development. He was one of the founders of FMIS Promotion Trust and life member and executive committee member of International Network for Participatory Irrigation Management (INPIM) Nepal, International Association for the Study of Common Property, USA. He has completed various consulting assignments with The World Bank, Asian Development Bank, JICA, and with many international firms. He also worked in the World Bank Resident Mission in Kathmandu as a Forestry Consultant. Previous to that, as a freelance consultant, he worked in the World Bank/UNDP funded Irrigation Sector Support Project, Mahakali Irrigation Project for the World Bank and Bagmati Irrigation Project for Asian Development Bank .
Upendra Gautam
Advisor, Ph. D in Public Administration
Dr. Gautam has amassed about 50 years of professional experience. Dr. Gautam has served as the Team Leader for several multi-disciplinary teams in several water/natural resources development and management projects. As an institutional and social development specialist, he has worked in several water resources development projects bringing primary focus on: the institutional structure, socio-cultural milieu, gender relations, social system and relative stage of human resources development; processes and system that promote participatory development; appropriate policies, organizational and management procedures, and action plans. He has undertaken several social and institutional development assignments relating to water resources projects in general and in irrigation in particular in Nepal, the Philippines, India, Guyana and China.
Ajaya L. Shrestha
Technical Director, MSc Water Resources
Mr. Shrestha is a civil engineer registered in Nepal Engineering Council. He has obtained training in the area of FIDIC Contracts, Construction Management, Irrigation Management and M&E of Irrigation Projects. He has an overall experience of more than 35 years in the profession. From 1980 to 1989, he worked in the Department of Irrigation, Government of Nepal as a Civil/Irrigation Engineer in a couple of donor aided implementation projects. Since 1992, he is involved in the projects undertaken by the company. His primary fields of expertise are groundwater engineering, water resources engineering and construction management, and has worked in design and implementation of several civil engineering projects. He is a life member of Nepal Engineers’ Association and a past member of IWRA and IAHR.

Mr. Upreti is a financial and administrative management specialist. He holds a degree of Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from Tribhuvan University (1991). Mr. Upreti has more than 18 years of work experience in the area with the government and private organizations. He has sound knowledge of overall management skill particularly in the area of office management, financial administration management, corporate and public relations and other management aspects related to administration and financial activities. He has successfully completed the management related assignments in several undertakings of CMS. Sudeep Adhikari

Mr. Adhikari holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Structural Engineering from University of Akron, Akron, Ohio, USA. He completed his Bachelors in Civil engineering from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus in 2004. He holds an overall experience of 15 years in the field of civil infrastructure development. As the Senior Structural Engineer of CMS, he provides necessary technical support for the structural design of various hydraulic structures (Reinforced Concrete, Steel and Masonry). He has provided his expertise in relation to structural design of various hydraulic structures (Reinforced Cement Concrete) for Jamuni Irrigation Project (Rauthahat), Mohana Irrigation Project (Kailali), Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project (Kailali), Sikta Irrigation Project (Banke), LalBakaiya Irrigation Project (Rautahat), Mahakali River-Training Project (Darchula) etc.
Sangita Maharjan

Ms. Maharjan has an overall experience of more than 13 years in the profession. Her primary fields of expertise are environment, natural resources, climate change and water resources development. She has performed as an environmental expert in several projects like APN funded International Graduate Conference on Climate Change and People, SAARC Coastal Zone Management Center, Maldives funded SAARC Haveeru -Coastal Festival in the Mountains, WWF funded Impact of Climate Change in High Altitude Wetlands and Preparation of Book on Climate Change Adaptation- Pani Prasad Ventures to Raise Climate Change Awareness. Ms. Maharjan has provided her expert services as an Environmental Expert in various irrigation and water resources projects, which include The World Bank and ADB funded projects.
Ashutosh Shukla
Technical Director, Ph. D Land and Water Resource Engineering He started his career as a teacher and researcher at Institute of Agriculture and Animal Sciences (IAAS), Tribhuvan University in 1985. He is actively engaged interdisciplinary research and analysis on cross-cutting issues involving water, ecosystems and livelihoods and producing knowledge products that benefit wider communities. He has proven competence in design, development, operation and management of infrastructures and systems for rural production systems, livelihoods and economy, involving such areas as irrigated agricultural system, farm enterprise and value chain development, rural-urban interface and conservation and management of natural resources.
